TEFL Plus is online, on-demand, and self-paced, so you can take the course based on your schedule. Normally, it takes 3-4 weeks to complete, but you have a full year to complete it.

Almost all jobs teaching English abroad will require TEFL or TESOL certification. That can be online or in-country. 

The TEFL Plus course is valid for life. Although you may want to take a refresher one day, your TEFL certificate will remain valid.

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) are different acronyms for very similar courses in ESL (English as a Second Language) teaching.

CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is a different brand of these courses specifically tailored to teaching English to adults. If you know that you want to teach adults, then CELTA might be for you, but bear in mind that this might limit your options if you ever want to teach children.

You must be at least 18 years old. If you're not a native English speaker, you must show an official CEFR certificate from B1 through C2. If you don't have a CEFR certificate, we can arrange for you to take an iTEP exam, after which you will receive an official CEFR certificate.

Teaching English to speakers of other languages is a different skill from teaching English to home language speakers.

The question is really one of your preferences. Some people travel to take their TEFL certification in-country. There are many TEFL schools worldwide where you can get certified in class.

Online TEFL is a recognized qualification for TEFL certification, which carries the same weight as in-class TEFL. Especially TEFL Plus, where you have multiple certifications.

With TEFL Plus, you'll begin with Module 1 and work through the last module at your own pace. If you're good at time management, you'll be fine. If you're not so good at it or a life event occurs, you can slow down, come back, pick up where you left off, and be successful.

We recommend reaching out to the tutors, who will energize you and encourage you to finish one module and begin the next. Even though this is an online course, you won't be alone.

TEFL Plus is internationally accredited by Accreditat. When you complete the course, you'll receive a certificate signed by our Executive Director and the Academic Director. You can also receive a certificate for Renzulli Learning and a certificate from The University of Connecticut.

This qualification will position you to get a teaching job; however, you will still have to find a job. You can apply through us for many jobs. And we can also assist you with language schools and online programs to help you start your journey.
