| Native English Speaker If you're going to do a year au pair position, being a native English speaker is not always required. |

| Visa required If you stay 1-3 months, you'll enter on a tourist visa. If you stay longer than 4 months, depending on the country you'll need a student visa, or in France and The Netherlands the Au Pair visa, Germany the work visa. In Australia and New Zealand you'll need the Working Holiday visa. |

| Speak the local language Although you are not required on any of our programs to speak the local language, a knowledge of the local language is always helpful. |
