Throughout the months of July and August, our team is diligently conducting an annual evaluation of quality performance in collaboration with our esteemed offices and partners in Italy. As part of this comprehensive review process, we kindly request your patience as it may take a few weeks longer than usual to approve new applications until the assessment is finalized.

Overview

This is an amazing opportunity to dive into the Italian language, culture, and cuisine for 1, 2, or 3 months. Experience life as a local with a carefully selected host family and truly become a part of the community. In exchange for up to 15 hours of conversational English tutoring per week, you'll have plenty of free time to explore your vibrant new surroundings and make lasting connections with the locals.

Fees

The cost for 1, 2, or 3 months is a flat fee of $999.
To confirm your reservation, a deposit of $350 is required. The remaining balance of $649 will be due after you have approved the match with your host family.

Responsibilities

Please make sure to arrive on time for your tutoring sessions with your host family.
Spend up to 15 hours each week tutoring your host family in conversational English.
Please make sure to keep your private bedroom clean and organized.
Please be considerate of your host family's schedule and avoid staying out late without their permission.
Utilize our comprehensive A Tutor's Guide to create engaging and enjoyable lessons based on the plan agreed upon by you and your host family.

Requirements

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Older participants will require more flexibility in terms of timing and placement, as some host families may have a preference for younger tutors. If you're over 30, we'll place you. But you must be extremely flexible on your travel dates.
Host families normally give preference to native English speakers.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
